Faded Postmarkpostcards from five worlds

Questions

Things people write in to ask

Do I need to download anything to visit these worlds?

No. All five run in a current Chrome, Firefox, Edge or Safari on Windows, macOS, Linux and ChromeOS. Most also have a mobile app; each card says whether progress is shared with the browser version.

Are they really free?

Free to begin and free to keep going indefinitely. All five make money from a premium currency and time-savers. How much that gets in the way is what the "welcome" mark measures.

Why only five cards?

Because a rack of fifty tells you nothing. Five worlds visited for a month each tells you more than fifty opened once. These are the five that cleared 7.0 on the latest batch.

Why postcards and not reviews?

A review is a verdict. A postcard is what you'd actually tell a friend after a few weeks away: what surprised you, what annoyed you, whether you'd go back. The format keeps us honest about the small things.

How is the site paid for?

Affiliate commissions from the "Set off" buttons, and nothing else. Publishers can't buy a card or read one early, and commission has no effect on the stamp.

I'm mostly on my phone. Which card should I pick?

Elvenar and Sunrise Village share one account between browser and app, so you can build on a laptop and check in on a phone. Grepolis and Rail Nation have apps too, but suit sitting down at a screen for a while. The West is browser only.

Can I suggest a world?

Yes, please. Use the write to us page and tell us why it deserves a card. Browser-first strategy games with a living community go to the front of the queue.
